- Battery Pack
The Battery Pack is a gamepass item costing
R$275. When held, you can toggle who gets to charge, either by yourself, your friends, or everyone nearby, all shown by an off, green, and blue color on each side of the center respectively, and can be activated to start supplying charge to any NULLTECH phone, indicated by how many connected devices there are.
Much like the
Phone, the Battery Pack can only charge at
The Bus, and has the a slightly longer lifetime than the phone.
The best use case of this would be to use it whenever your phone (or someone else's) phone gets incredibly low, and then activate it, since the phone charges faster than how fast the Battery Pack would drain.
This is especially helpful in long de-tours, but not so much in the
Backwalls, given the lack of utility (aside from
Pear's Place) without any source of connection currently, alongside better means to conserve such as shutting down your phone.
Lastly, Battery Packs can stack in terms of charging power, always charging any phone it finds, this can allow groups to mass-charge each other or a specific person.
- Despite Glacier Cave being a Neutral Charge location listed within the Phone, the Battery Pack will still drain overtime so long as it is active.
- Contrarily though, if the Battery Pack remains inactive, it takes approximately 1 minute and 38 seconds to charge by 1%.
- While the changelog says that it can support up to 16 minutes on a single charge, the Rider's Almanac used to mention it being 30 minutes instead.
- Both of these however are often invalid measurements simply because of the amount of factors involved when it comes to charging / discharging.
- The Battery Pack has a faint humming sound when it is active, and is still audible even when unequipped.
- The Battery Pack weighs a tid bit heavier than the Phone if held within an event that forces The Bus to accelerate beyond its normal speed under a cramped state.
- The Battery Pack, unlike the Phone, actually can charge under the Backwalls' effects. This allows players who somehow got back to The Bus to still have their phone fully charged through the pack, so long as they have Airplane Mode on.
