The entities around here are kinda scary... I tried to hide away in a room when one spotted me, but it still knew where I was..! I guess they can still track you for a bit when you're out of sight...

Entities are NPCs found in the
Backwalls, they're hostile towards players and will kill them if they directly contact the player. They also have a faint unnatural sound and cannot attack
Pear.
If you paid for Pear's services at the cost of 10 Passenger Reputation, any entity that Pear encounters (assuming they don't find you first) will be pacified, being unable to catch you even when being next to them.
The entities are both tall and slim, with a very unnatural material composition. They possess only white eyes and have a dark aura around them.
Much like the Civilians from
No Dough and
Santa's Gone, they can detect players within their range, but with a few alterations.
- Entities can detect players in a much wider range and remembers your position if the line of sight breaks, they are also generally faster and undistractable by sound items.
- Once they detect you, you won't instantly die but get stunned. Only a well timed Almond Water and Liquid Void can save you in this case.
- You may also try to use the teleporters if you are near one or the exit, but there's no guarantee it's a risk worth taking.
- You may also use Liquid Void or a Void Burger to evade them completely or by timing your movements right.
- Their line of sight also breaks at any obstacle, especially Pear. If you are his client and got detected first before Pear could pacify it, hiding behind him can significantly reduce your speed of detection.
- If Pear encounters it with his client first before it could to the player, their AI will temporarily be pacified, allowing Pear's client to get away without being detected no matter what circumstances would trigger its detection.
- This doesn't work if the Entity finds the client first before Pear could intervene, or if other players had tagged along with the client.
- Entities can also teleport using Void Walls much like players can, and in very-rare instances, could end up appearing right next to another player.
